# Control flow: Close

The **Control Flow: Close** node will effectively end the conversation. It cannot be opened again. Any new interaction with this user will result in a new conversation being created, triggering the `__main__` dialog again.

On the [Phone channel](/studio/channels/phone.md), the text of the **Control flow: Close** node will be spoken to the user, and the conversation will be closed.

On text based channels, it hides the chat input, and/or shows a control that indicates that the conversation is over.

On channels that do not support any close controls, but are "single conversation", e.g. WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, etc, the next time a user starts chatting, a new conversation is opened.

{% hint style="info" %}
The **Control Flow: Close** node will trigger the system dialog `__closed__` to be triggered. By creating a flow with an entry node that is triggered by **closed**, you can influence what happens at closure.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://manuals.dialox.ai/studio/flows/nodes/control-flow-close.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
